My colleague peered over his glasses, a pen twirling in his fingers.

"What do you mean? What's wrong?" I could sense a pejorative lecture coming.
His lips tightened while he uncapped a whiteboard marker. Tension crept into his shoulders, nestled just below his ears.
The squeaky sound of the marker foretold disaster as he meticulously sketched supply-demand curves, bar charts, and more – a visual onslaught of impending doom.
"The market will crash. We’ll get sued. We can't keep growing like this."
He pointed the tip of the marker at me from across the room.
